Like really? This borderline uncalled for. You could at least said "nigras". My great grandmother's parents lived through the Civil War in Georgia as children and yet her parents still had the couth to call them "nigras" even after Sherman came though. It was passed down. Couth people say "nigra". Bless your heart.

It is just different words for black. Of course the nigger word has more perceived negative connotations, but then any word associated with niggers will acquire negative connotations. It is like the words moron, cretin and idiot. They used to be the formal clinical terms for people with particular levels of intelligence deficiency but since people look down on that population they became insulting. It is the same with anything you call blacks.
