Maybe the real insurrection was the friends we met along the way.

She's right, but she doesn't even understand the meaning of what she has said. A "slow-motion insurrection" is another way of saying a popular rejection of the official realm. I've commented on LGB before and I said this has always been about more than Joe Biden. Nicolle Wallace (the host) does not say this, but what has her and her handlers scared is that the public rejection is of everything. The whole system, of which MSNBC is but one part. This is a rejection of MSNBC; it is a rejection of the entire alphabet system. Yes, it's an insurrection. What really pisses them off is that because this is happening peacefully, with people simply saying openly what we think of how our country is being run, they don't have an easy response. The only response they do have is censorship, just proving that they are exactly the scum we are telling them they are. When in order to hold power, you have to censor the speech of your opponents, you are a totalitarian system. Fortunately, enough people are waking up to this that people like Wallace are in a real bind.

So, yes. I'll go with slow-motion insurrection. Slow moving, very thorough, and absolute. Tyranny must be completely and totally rejected.

Let's Go Brandon.

I thought with all the cable cutting the MSM would be about bankrupt by now.

This is a good analog for the corporate economy in general. The largest entities in the corporate system are now supported by our government (especially the banks), else the majority would be bankrupt.

We came from different directions, but we and the Chinese now look remarkably similar economically. Things to think about...

Still a lot of lefty boomers around who love that cable. Plus, MSNBC is available on streaming too.

My elderly mom, who describes herself as moderate and balanced, still has cable and gets most of her news from Maddow.

Bless your mom's heart.

Indeed.

I sure hope so. Validity of any government is dependent on the consent of it's people, and most people do not consent to be represented by corrupt buffoons like Biden or Democrats.

Yet it's funny how they called "Fuck Trump" legitimate free speech. I don't remember even the most passionate Trump supporters calling them insurrectionists.

And the Russian-collusion conspiracy theory literally was a slow moving insurrection of the media and bureaucratic class trying to overturn an election. Isn't it amazing how every Democrat has memory holed that entire farce?

Nah, MSNBC should poll its viewers, asking on scale of 1 to 10 how serous should the penalty for being a propagandist be.
