i just took a windy walk with my mom in the park. She hates the government and media but was wearing a face diaper, buying into the COVID hysteria, in part because she and my dad had it, and was playing the victim card because she lost her husband. I lost a father too - and much much more a dozen years ago. The walk ended prematurely in a shouting match and my mitten finger pointing in her face, "You are closed-minded, lady!", and I stormed off. Fuck retarded brainwashed family.

Dude don’t talk to your mom like that what’s wrong with you

You are correct.

Also, fuck retarded brainwashed family.

Not everyone has the luxury of nice families that you see on TV.

Be the nice family you want to have, arguing with your mom isn't helping anyone

She literally lives across the street from me and that was the first time I saw her in over a year. She doesn't give a fuck. I didn't have a phone for over half a year until last week. I called her to let her know I had one. We agreed to walk and talk. My dad died "with COVID" on a ventilator in February, but she didn't tell me until 16 days after. We were supposed to have a funeral this summer - no one visited/emailed to let me know what was going on. There was no funeral. However on our walk she showed me the new bench in the park that is dedicated to my dad - months later. If I'd not gotten a new phone and let her know I'd still not know about the bench or whether they had the service or if it was cancelled which apparently it was. Fuck retarded brainwashed family.

it's weird you didn't have a phone. And if you live across the street you could have gone and visited phone or not. It was weird of her wearing a mask but besides that it's mostly you being weird.

It's all weird.

I'm broke as fuck. My extremely limited budget to include a phone has been sidetracked by my summer/fall activism.

I did try to visit before. She didn't answer her buzzer. She literally lives in an ivory tower and I literally live in half a basement.

You didn't hear her weird talking points - nor try to explain the ruling class scams to her over the last 7 years.

Fuck her stubborn brainwashed closed mindedness.

I do understand, sounds like a narc parent, quite common, sometimes if they stress you out more than you enjoy being with them, it's time to go no contact

Not sure if she's that bad on this front. She's reasonable on most others. But this is a big one.

sometimes if they stress you out more than you enjoy being with them, it's time to go no contact

That's our default now.

It was already getting this way before COVID even hit as I was explaining the corruption of the world. I was not depressed about learning of dark things and finding deeper meaning and purpose in resisting it, but she was and had little interest in me being "born again" via my curiosity. In our spat yesterday I even called her an ostrich with her head in the sand. She doesn't trust CBC, yet bullshit was all she was repeating while questioning my "sources" without me even mentioning any, except VAERS which she shut down before I could explain it. I wished I'd mentioned her being a Luddite and brainwashed, if it even would have helped at all. I can't remember much when I'm angry and I can only guess she might be the same, especially since she already has memory issues since her stroke a year ago.

She thinks she's informed. She watched the TV and read the paper for information. She was a highschool science teacher for a year or two before I was born in 1970 then was a homemaker until the late eighties or early nineties when she managed my dad's GP small town clinic for a dozen or two year give or take. My parents were smarter than average by far (this is not actually saying much as average is shit), but they had limitations too, as I do too.

I couldn't even tell you how many hundreds or even thousands of productions I've worked on. Countless TV ads and PSAs, music videos, TV shows, movies, web sites, design work, presentations, events, rallies, DJing, etc. Entertainment, presentation, and the art of persuasion are my fields of expertise, regardless how "successful" I was/am. Add to that my curiosity to some degree in almost all things (including fundamental psychology, psyops, propaganda, etc - things not taught in school or on TV). My dad was a similar vacuum of trivia, but he was not critical or skeptical of power as I am. He was part of Big Pharma - even after it destroyed me with my blind faith in Scientism 13 years ago, along with the 2008 crash.

In short, I know what I'm talking about, more than she, and I know very well that I don't know much.

I wouldn't bother arguing with any woman let alone my mom, it can't lead anywhere, you can't change minds, it will just stress you out. It sounds like you went for a walk, a walk can be nice, going thru nature etc. I'd say for that long silences can be ok, or if talking talk about noncontroversial stuff like the weather, that's what I do with minor acquaintances or clients, you can't talk about politics and conspiracy theories and such. It's the kind of thing people have to discover on there own, they can't be pushed.

Meanwhile my mum told me the other day "the way I see crime is that everyone is guilty until proven innocent."

My family is based.

If you're unable to prove you are innocent when you are then you're fucked? Your mom is a criminal whore unless she can prove she's innocent. She's also a communist until she can prove she's not. Who decides? Me of course. That's retarded. Family is retarded. I lost my dad. He was a dick half the time. I'll never get another. She lost a husband. She can find another, technically. She's also loosing a son. Fuck retarded brainwashed family.

99% of the time the criminal is guilty. Does suck for the few who are innocent. But if getting arrested you probably deserve it. That's why it's mostly black people getting arrested.

[–]JasonCarswellVoluntaryist[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (16 children)

99% of the time the criminal is guilty.

In an uncorrupt system I'd agree. But the entire matrix of systems is not only rigged, but they're not being obvious and brazen about their corruption protected by fields of propaganda, brainwashing, coercion, fake news, and lies.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (15 children)

it's maily 99%, we hear about exceptions to that like innocent kyle rittenhouse getting arrested but that's a small percentage of the cases, truth is usually cops do a good job which is why soros and others want them defunded.

[–]JasonCarswellVoluntaryist[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (14 children)

Bullshit. Truth is cops do a passable job and they're limited by the system that they are part of, corruption or not.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (13 children)

are they perfect, no of course, but a passable job is all we should expect anyway.

[–]JasonCarswellVoluntaryist[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (12 children)

Nonsense. Police can and should do better. There's always room for improvement and they're all going the wrong way, intentionally - militarily controlling the order and chaos and to serve and protect the ruling class pulling the strings.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (11 children)

that's true to an extent but does it then make sense to protest against the police, or against wall st, aka the ruling class pulling the strings
