No he wasn't. He was a leftist loser who blamed all his shortcomings on others. So, yes, losers want to be like him in that they also want to blame all their shortcomings on others. There is nothing based about anything he said.

All applications of his theories have ended in failure.

I never understood the obsession with this guy when he was such a massive piece of shit and embodied everything hated by a large swathof the people that follow him. I understand that even shitty people can have great ideas, but this baffles me.
