I'm calling for people everywhere to cut out their consumption of mainstream corporate media entirely. Seek out and support independent alternative media. While researching news and topics relating to current events independently.

BAck in the late 20th century one of my professors told us all to read both right wing and left wing papers every day. This was before the Internet was a thing. Nothing much has changed. It's still possible to ascertain which wing is lying, or holding back information that undercuts their positions. Today, we can even read foreign news sources, to see what their agenda has coming up. Dropping cable is the best choice for anyone that has broadband. Do your own research. People such up droplets of memes these days as if it were real information and not tiny emotional pokes.
