Electric cars can... seeing as most people replace their car in 5 years, sooner or later most people will actually drive cars that run on solar or wind. It’s cheaper anyways, 3$ per full “tank”. If you’re just driving around cities and never more than 80 miles in one stretch you’re better off buying a 5k used electric car.
