When the stated purpose of your platform is drastically different from the real purpose, that's false advertising.
Not if they change the terms of service along the way ;)
But I get your point about crying out in indignation, I hadn't thought of it from that perspective. I just find the whole affair ridiculous because hundreds of millions of people were lured online, under their real identities, and gave themselves up to every intelligence agency and marketing company in the world. I couldn't think of anything more dangerous for your future personal rights than to engage in social media. I never joined any of them and I'm glad of that. I like to keep my opinions and thoughts among my close intimates, and here, behind a wall of anonymity.
