This is extremely unsafe. Not only can people's votes be changed, but they can be read as well. Antifa could go through, taking the names of everyone who voted for Trump, and then hunting them down like they did to the man in Portland.

But I'm sure this is intentional. Oregon is a far-left state, so they enable and work with Antifa at every chance they get. Also, they want to be able to rig the election in Biden's favor. Oregon is probably going to Biden, I don't think anyone will argue otherwise, but this is just a test run of what they want to enforce upon the rest of the country.

I entirely oppose online voting for this reason. Even without this specific, deadly flaw, there's no real way to make someone's vote secure. Technology doesn't work that way. Not even TOR is fool-proof — but we can't even get to those levels because you need to actually verify a voter's identity before they vote. With a paper ballot, this is no problem, since it's not linked in any way to the actual ballot, but online it's done through the same device and over the same connection.

I also oppose ballot machines for a similar reason. They're definitely more secure, but one USB can compromise the whole system, and the results are often transferred over the internet, which makes it inherently insecure.

The only solution is to go back to the paper ballot. Yes, it's more expensive, and it's harder to do, but we can't afford to cut corners with our Democracy. I support a constitutional amendment to require this, because if our election's ain't legitimate, neither is our government.

I think the voting machines in most states are compromised.
Like explained in this video by a whistleblower.

But this is indeed extreme.

Yep.

It's no coincidence that after the last election a list of every republican voter was leaked from an Amazon server.

They literally bankroll Democrats like AOC, so go figure.

You said yourself,

there's no real way to make someone's vote secure. Technology doesn't work that way.

It's just technically difficult, possibly impossible to make any application 100% secure.

I don't think you can change the vote online, but you may be able to negate the vote by requesting another mail-in or absentee ballot.

He said they changed it, though? Maybe 4channers just sent another ballot, I don't know, it's insecure either way.

I agree. At the very least, they took his vote away. I was the victim of voter fraud during the last presidential election. In my state, the Democrats are fighting the voter ID law that was passed, which woud have stopped it. I say bring back the practice of dipping your thumb in ink when you vote.

Voter ID laws just require you to show them your Driver's License, which you need for just about everything else. The left doesn't like that because it makes it harder for them to rig the election. Even then, it's not enough.

You mentioned fingerprints, and I don't see why kids have to give their fingerprint to get lunch (when I was in school they made us use a scanner, but that switched to an ID a few months before I graduated) but we don't have to in order to vote.

In India they mark voters's fingers with ink, and it's actually become a symbol of voting. They've done that since 1962.

The government says license plate readers are needed to record illegal immigrants and then the government says anyone recorded by license plate readers must give their DNA to the government.
