The person who did the translation identifies as a Marxist and is a feminist, so I think the translation may be biased in that direction, but you still get the idea. Obviously, if both Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden, then they were both guilty to some degree.

So does this basically mean sex, and the sexual desire, in of itself is sin after all?

Yes it is saying lust between unmarried persons is original sin.
