It's a multitude of issues. Dismissal of the influence of large corporations that have created oligopolies across nations with their own greedy means isn't smart. There will forever and always be idiots and the potential for more idiots to be spawned into this world, and idiots breed like rabbits. Even the people considered intelligent on paper are not necessarily intelligent in the ways that they carry their lives, even they can be fools. It takes more than being smart to live with wholeness and good intent. Greed is the destroyer of mankind, idiots just accelerate the process.
