I am doing an extended staying in a hotel in Silicon Valley. My wife talked to the hotel maid when I was out. She came from Nicaragua recently in one of those migrant caravans. She told my wife that when she arrived in the US, they vaccinated her and the offered her the job. At this hotel, apparently some American workers refused the vaccine, so they were replaced with recent immigrants. So this seems to be one of the reasons that the government is importing immigrants, to replace those American workers who refuse the vaccine.
