I may or may not have an unlicensed bag of weed and no you can't have it.

I have my own fun story of my firearm in the State of NY = Thanksgiving of 2001 I decided to go see my son he and family live upstate to Syracuse and that's quite a drive so I decided to fly up then fly home from there. To my surprise for the first time ever in my life when I went to ticket counter to check and declare my firearm unloaded and locked up with the chick behind counter said word for word "oh ok I'll call the police" and I stopped here and said "what the hell call police? I'm breaking no law!" and she said SOP for their JFK airport. 2 Port Authority cops came up 1 male 1 female and told me to follow them and off to small room we went. Asked to see the gun and my ID and I sure as hell thought that illegal I should only give ID to cop if they have reason to believe I committed a crime and was doing so now or would do so soon. Cops both told Me "welcome to New York for the very fact of having a gun no matter who you are gives us suspicion enough". So I unlocked case to show them my nice full frame H&K .45 and ammo mags all neat and tidy then showed them my Idaho DL and my WA ST CCW and also gave them my business card. They told me "problem for why you are talking to us is that you are flying INSIDE New York airspace you are not leaving. If you were leaving that state to go land another state then we would not be called". All seemed groovy so they thanked me and off we all went.
