Boeing said it was saddened to hear of Mr Barnett's passing. (chuckling in the background) The Charleston County coroner confirmed his death to the BBC on Monday. It said the 62-year-old had died from a "self-inflicted" wound (more chuckling ) on 9 March and police were investigating.

Boeing should be buying a lotto ticket with luck like this. However, the damage is done and they are now under a microscope. A lot of people fly on their planes including people at the FAA and in government.
Now that the word is out on the shitty work they have been doing there is no stopping this investigation or bribing your way out of this. The more issues investigators find the more it will drive them to look deeper. This will unravel for Boeing and killing Barnett will have solved nothing.
With regards to the investigation, where there no video cams that saw him going to his truck? Getting in his truck?
