The woke CEO who was responsible for that cheap and shoddily constructed deathtrap was inside it as well, so one of them at least got exactly what they deserved.

That's true. Not wanting to hire 50 year old white men because it's not inspiring was an idiotic move on top of being racist. Bragging about not hiring the most experienced people he could find should have been a red flag for the rest of them, as if the video game controls weren't enough already. Being as dumb as they were rich just doesn't necessarily mean they were awful people also, especially the kid
