Grooming can mean something else. For example it can be said someone is groomed for a roll like a politician is grooming his successor. Or a parent grooming their child to be an actor.

The latter being a very common issue with the likes of child stars in Hollywood and whatnot. Honestly makes the entire situation much more thorny. If this child wasn't a model then we could look at the situation and say it's likely merely a case of the parent pushing their ideas on the child, however now millions of dollars are riding on the child's identity so it opens the question of whether or not the parent is doing it to get rich. Should the child express that they aren't a girl, would the parent then just allow the child to be themselves and lose out on millions of dollars?
