That is why they cut funding on NASA for many aspects.

NASA is a cash cow for the elite who run it. The majority of the money goes to pay the salaries of well connected do nothing "scientists" and administrators. They "cut" a budget of literally billions a year that got the country an rc car on Mars.

No, it is clearly better, by an order of magnitude. Government is wasteful, incompetent, and corrupt. Comparing the cost of sending payload on falcons vs the space shuttle proves that.
