These people... i honestly really admire them for their take on things. And their society is a brilliant example on how values can be kept securely implemented in heads. Their resilience and stability is a brightly shining example on how human beings can actually live autonomous and self-sufficient at the same time in balance with their environment mostly, even.

They've been preppers for generations.

They're definely prepared for all kinds of manmade bullshit. "Natural" disaster or an asteroid though?

Who could prepare for that?

Bill Gates? This motherfucker can't even find his dick. "Microsoft" ... do i need to elaborate anymore?

And whores like Musk and Bezos just keeping jerking each other off?

To blow up an ego from pea to testicle size?

You just need put a needle into their egos and they gotta spend some time in their panic-rooms and sniff cocaine so they can finally see themself in their mirror again.

Because their "wives" wanted these mirrors in normal height.

See: Even for that they haven't enough dick. Their trophy wives dictate their Feng Shui. I would put a bet on this.

They use more tech than people think. I'm sure they'll certainly be better off, but they won't be unaffected.

Moreover, the Amish readily buy much modern technology, such as gas grills, shop tools, camping equipment, and some farm equipment. The Amish do not consider technology evil in itself but they believe that technology, if left untamed, will undermine worthy traditions and accelerate assimilation into the surrounding society.

Onto your article I noticed this,

The Amish secure the sturdy garments that they make with thick buttons, hook-and-eye fasteners, and Velcro.

And it insinuates they all know how to make their own thread, buttons, and fabric, all this is under "sewing." I'm sure that's not the case and they are dependent on the manufacture of these items in a modern factory.

Even their buggies often use sheet metal I'm pretty sure they aren't making themselves.

Without tech and industry we're all going to have to accept a much lower standard of living. Even the Amish.

Without decentralized energy accessibility, most people wouldn't survive, i assume. That is why i got all these devices hidden in my stashes.

The white spot in this aspect of this possible problem though is an old zombie-apocalypse "joke": Fat people die first.

This is also finely apply-able in unwanted brawls or encirclements when group dynamics start to define a context:

Because of their fatness these people mostly falsely assume they have power. Which is simply wrong in most cases.

But their actual "biggest" weakness is, that they can't run away.

Once they are down, they are just punching bags. Which i often used when they even then try to bigmouth sme.

Rule #1: Cardio. If i remember Zombieland correctly.

False assumptions about reality really can bite you in your own ass very hard.
