I don't know what kind of job he is trying to get but it sounds a lot like he wants this just to look good and get laid but needs a better excuse than vanity. Not everyone is lucky enough to be born attractive, this seems like a reasonable solution. I think the real reason people are so put off by this is that the world is inherently competitive and when others can improve their looks it puts everyone else at a relative disadvantage. Basically, don't hate him because you aint him. He went through a lot to look better; he deserves it more than anyone who doesn't go through that.

Though I think he should have put a lot more work into exercising.

$18k was a bargain.

I doubt it's real.

Wait, so if he's paid 10$/h, that's 1740 hours or 43.5 week.

At that price, he might as well not work and claim to have profit 17'400$.

What a dumb ass.

Well I hope he can work is way up from 10/hr to something more substantial, but even at that rate he will have his investment paid off in 3 years if he put 1/3 of his income towards paying off the debt. People who don't work because of this kind of retarded financial logic are why I can't support all the welfare bullshit. You are just lazy as fuck. Any excuse to not work is enough. A career is something you build over time. You don't get 40/hr out of highschool, or even college. You start as a jr whatever the fuck and as you gain experience you move up into positions that require more experience and pay more. Then all the losers who complain about inequality while refusing to work can be jealous of you.

I work. There's no way his face is what made him not have a job. It's bollocks. Spending 17400 to get a new face is a dumb investment.

I can see it being one of many factors. Obviously if he was a brilliant or talented guy he wouldn't have to look good. But if he has literally nothing going for him looking good could be what gets his foot in the door someplace. Even if the problem is that his looks are keeping him from applying for jobs because he is too ashamed go to interviews or be seen in a public work space, it's reasonable to characterize that as his looks keeping him from getting a job.

If it works it's not stupid.

Even if you can imagine (what you assume are) better ways to spend the money and time to get a job, it doesn't make his solution stupid. There is nothing more common than a brilliant plan that doesn't work. Maybe putting that money into education would leave him with a useless liberal arts degree because he isn't smart enough to get a stem degree. Maybe investing it would only lead him to lose it all. Maybe he wants more from life than just a job and looking good will get him that too.

Doubt.

If we're talking professional white collar jobs, he could have just shaved and gotten a haircut. The after photo is some weird uncanny valley stuff. It looks like they're going for some kind of feminine kpop look.

This is joke! I don't believe these two photos are the same person for a second. There is not a single feature that resembles these 2 men as the same. Not even the hairs of the eyebrows hint at resenblence. Also, I don't think there's even a procedure to lighten the skin of an entire body like this. It's total Bullcrap. I also resent that they're saying "before" guy is "ugly". He's totally not.
