Yep, it was click bait. I heard you're a Texan too. I don't think we're going to see legal bud before the Fed legalizes. Which is a shame, Texas produces some amazing stuff, we could compete with Cali in that regard if we were allowed to.

Perhaps yeah. Oklahoma might be the first in the area to legalize. They've got a huge CBD industry almost overnight already because CBD was legalized recreationally a few years ago, so I think it's just a matter of time until it is fully legal there, and TX might follow suit after they see how much money OK is making

Unfortunately they know the money involved and we're passing on it anyways. We can sell cbd/hemp in Texas but we can't grow it. On purpose. It's not the first time Texas has turned its nose up at "free" money. We also turned down expanded Medicare, which also fucks the ACA, leaving some Texans (I was there myself last year) stuck between neither qualifying for ACA nor Medicaid as each tells you to go to the other for coverage. As far as I can tell we're doing this only for ideology.

I think Texas needs new leadership, the people we have now are just not up to the task.

I think it's done to reduce federal control over Texas. Whereas pot legalization wouldn't have this effect, so I think Texas will do it eventually
