Putin's Russia was really the only country, other than Iran, keeping Assad afloat. Russia is on great terms with both Syria and Netanyahu's Israel. We can observe that the Yinon war on terror was largely an Israeli and Russo-Jewish plot, in which, US men were used for destablization and Balkanization purposes.
