If a facemask can't filter smoke, then it won't filter aerosolized anything (imaginary aerosolized virus particles).
Cigarettes filters only capture the largest of smoke particles, and the filter depth is just under an inch.

Wearing a 1/20th of an inch piece of cloth on your face is useless folly.

It's a joke.

These tragic souls who have fallen for this will never see the world in the same way. Death could be in the air at any time.
