In Switzerland on almost all bills there is a number on the bottom that contains all informations for payment. You either scan it or type it in your e banking acount. This number now will be replaced by a QR code that basicaly displays the same number, working in the same manner. Switzerland still is one of the places with highest usage of cash.

Im more conserned about our "swiss" version of apple pay called "twint" that uses bluetooth and acts like a debit card.Twint anlong with self scanning that only takes debit card is the real attack on cash and privacy.
