Marx was a tool for cronyists. Read some older books, on Engles, Marx and even Lenin. Lenin said the only people he liked were capitalists. The whole goal of the Bolshevik revolution was to destabilize imperialist Russia for Germany and later the US's sake. It would then be used as a manufacturing hub for neoliberalist states. The US gave tens of millions in arms to the Soviet Union well after the 2nd World War and when it collapse, allegedly, all the oligarchs and free market fad losers siphoned up all the pennies they could find, buying up industry by the pennies.
