Wow imagine having access to prices before buying the product. You could actually do comparison shopping! This just makes sense. The ambiguity of pricing in US hospitals is corrupt, and has to do with their relationships to the insurance companies, who negotiate the prices. It's such a broken system.

This won't fix it for everyone, but it will at least fix it for medicare patients.
