They are the deluded ones.

I mean the horrors of surgery accounts for a lot of the suicides.

When they do follow up studies on this 30-50% of the patients just fall off the map. In any other similar studies over 10% is unusual and would mean the figures are unreliable but in trans medicine it's hardly mentioned. Where are all those people going?

I wonder if it might have to do with the whole deadname thing. Confusion or lack of control on how you're registered after you've self-owned?

If you're having surgery you'll already be living under your trans name.

Even so they send letters to these peoples addresses and phone them, they have next of kin details too. It's not like they have no contact details for their patients and have to Google them to find out where they are.
