I won't break someone's denial if it's holding them back from crisis, but in my case I just can't buy lies like that. Treatment can maybe make you pass if you're FtM.

Does timeliness make any difference if you're MtF?

Because if you get in before puberty, most people would say you'd at least pass better. You know. Because the shape of the hips, the shape of the shoulders, the density of facial hair, the changes to the voice, the difference in adult height. These are the things that get in the way of passing. And they predominantly differentiate between the sexes during puberty.

Because female puberty does nothing fundamental. You basically stay the same person. Male puberty dramatically changes every single aspect of you permanently, and they're mostly bad.

Girls change shape a lot. They get wide hips. They stop growing upwards as much.

They also grow boobs and get periods.

But I take your point that men get facial hair and hair on their limbs and their voice breaks on top of similar magnitude shape changes.

And testosterone makes them die in car crashes 5 times as much. FtM transexuals on testosterone complain that they want to go to the pub and start fights all the time.

FtM can do most of that though.

On the other hand a vagina is easier to make with surgery than a penis.

It's a lot more complicated than just making your genitals look like the other kind, or even if you could actually get the real thing. But that's still a better understanding than most TRAs these days have, which is that it's just a social construct and body parts shouldn't matter and transitioning is transphobic etc.
