I worked for a retailer that had an employee who specialized in opening up new locations.

Exactly. That corporation had an employee earning a livable salary and their whole job was jumping through hoops set up to prevent small businesses from starting. A small business starting out can't pay just one dude $30,000-$60,000 depending on location just to deal with bullshit.

That corporate bitch was an asshole too. But the manager of the store was nice enough. I almost liked the job had it not been for the low pay.
