I would like to see where someone praised him in modern society.

Are you seriously trying to pretend that Che is not a revolutionary hero and an inspirational model to follow for leftists worldwide? Wow...just, wow. Motorcycle Diaries anyone?

Yes, I am telling you that. Prove me wrong.

And not just some rando that no one knows talking some shit.

OK I must have hallucinated a half century of hero worship for Che. He's a revolutionary who lived the dream, actually overthrew an oppressive government, gave power to the people and put the capitalists up against the wall and shot them. And you're gonna pretend that none of this exists, has ever existed, and I'm making it all up.

This is what the villains of Orwell's 1984 did.

So maybe The Guardian isn't good enough for you? Sloppy praise like this is stupidly easy to find, I'm not wasting the finger calories on any more. https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2015/aug/28/10-best-revolutionaries-che-guevara-mahatma-gandhi-leon-trotsky

The 10 best revolutionaries

Not for nothing has the image of Che Guevara stayed a hallmark of revolution and every expression of democratic, radical dissent, in to the 21st century.

Its clearly a list of revolutions that had an effect on the world not the 'best' ones.
