Saidit: Come for the racist conspiretards, stay for the curry-bot spam!

Are they really racist, or do they just get off on watching people clutch their pearls by saying nigger in every comment?

I suppose reddit is to blame for their overbearing censorship, and this is just the rebound effect.

Though I'm inclined to believe that they're serious about it myself--based on how consistent they are and how they'd have to be really pathetic to waste that much time clowning on Saidit--it's certainly possible that they're shitposters looking for a reaction.

Unfortunately, we'll never know for sure either way and it'll still draw in like-minded people who think it's legit.

idk, I'm kinda torn. I'm for allowing such things as it indicates free speech, but I don't like how we try to get away from censor-nazi giants like reddit, and "offensive" things get tested so constantly on sites like this that it drives away most of the people that would be beneficial to having dogshit sites like reddit have digg 2.0 happen to them. I showed many people saidit, and many of them just took one look and left after seeing stuff like loljewniggerfaggotsdid911 on the front page a few times.

I feel I'm smart enough to see beyond it and understand that's a cost of free speech, but unfortunately, it seems most people aren't.

I'm fully in favor of them freely posting their opinion, because just censoring it into a dark hole doesn't actually get rid of it.

And I know exactly what steps to take if I just absolutely can't stand it anymore.

Yeah...

So have you ever been banned from reddit after reporting CSAM? I would say that's the worst of the worst.

No, can't say as I've had that dubious distinction on my Reddit record. In fact, in spite of having been a member of a few subs that were brigaded by (among others) members of bardfinn's personal hate mob over at AHS--who are notorious for using kiddie porn in their brigading--I've never even seen any of that filth on Reddit myself.

There are actual racists and actual nazis.

I'm sure there is, but it only propagates from those with the lowest level of emotional intelligence. We're all racist or come to premature conclusions based on correlations to things we've drawn ourselves, but smarter people mature beyond that, and realize that it's not correct to overgeneralize and judge people based on superficial features.
