Corn damaged by hail failed to grow a full ear.... from my small garden in Arkansas, 3 weeks after the worst hail storm I have ever witnessed. Stalks fell down and leaves were shredded. Farmers also see hail damage. I expect food shortages soon (but trust the Lord to provide, as he always has).

Oh that's rough, you going to try and salvage any of that or just compost it?

I gave it to the woodland creatures to eat. I put it down in a spot where I leave food scraps at the edge of the woods. The next day the edible parts were gone, leaving only the empty cob behind.
