misusing laws so blatantly should require this guy to resign and face prosecution for abuse of power. all others assisting likewise

Indeed. However, pursuing all parties implicated in this grand conspiracy would cause a Constitutional crisis as so many elected officials and government employees would be too occupied with legal defenses to do their jobs.

Whoever can be thrown into prison for breaking the public trust this way, should be. I think we'll figure out how to live without them.

hasnt it been said that it is the most fortunate of times when the politicians in DC do the least of anything ?

removing the criminals there will be a great boon to the country
