If you see a problem you do all actions to try and resolve it.

Trying to solve corruption through voting is like trying to extinguish a fire with gasoline.

What if you want the fire to be bigger? What if the space is small enough that the new gasoline doesn't produce enough fumes over its area and just hits the existing fire as a liquid?

Voting is easy, cheap, doesn't matter if you win or lose, but there is always a tiny % chance you might achieve something. I would never rely on it to solve the problem, but it doesn't hurt to do it.

If you want to go the accelerationist route all the more power to you, but you have to admit that this action itself is actually making things worse on the short run. You are also saying that voting is so insignificant that it practically doesn't matter, which is basically agreeing with the meme.

Don't do it then.

If there is a chance something good will happen, might as well do it. Specially since there is no chance of something bad happening and you are not out of pocket. Honestly, sounds like you are just lazy.
