TLDR;

There's been a public records request by two people for the names and addresses of people who turned in their bumpstock. The reasoning seems to be that they intend...

"to create a searchable database and map of Washington state to overlay the locations. The public has a right to know that these dangerous devices may have been in neighborhoods that they live in and who has previously owned such devices."

The two people requesting the records are interesting. One is named "Yati Arguna" and it seems to be a fake name. The other is "Paul Holgate" and he seems to actually exist.

If this is verified, wow! It absolutely will create a list that'll be used by thieves. I've heard mention the 'sex offender registry' has made trafficking, and sale of humans easier; the buyer's are as easy as looking up the list in a given area. Again 'hearsay', but I can see it having some muster.
