Unlike time or gravity, you can control yourself from being in contact with others, especially while willingly carrying an infection.

As for my right, it's pre-emptive self defense. If an HIV positive person can be charged for spitting on an officer, then I'm fine with the law also punishing those who want to spread Covid intentionally.

It looks like you can't read.

No one gets locked up for testing positive. But if you walk into a grocery store and begin to spit and cough on people, then the police are 100% in the right to physically remove you.
