Marxist Leninist's are also braindead leftists. The only decent people who will praise aspects of the Soviet Union or Stalin are those who come from a fascist/3rd position perspective and they will praise it because of its transition to a more patriotic and nationalist character with many characteristics that fascists would like. Actual Leftists who idolize Stalin and the USSR are some the most trash Leftists there are and their whole ideology is incoherent. They call themselves Marxist Leninists but Lenin would have hated Stalinism.

A lot of M-Ls are extremely based. Of course there are woke liberal idiots in western countries who claim to be M-L or Maoist (for example, Bob Avakian and his followers) so you have to be careful. But if someone is willing to openly defend Stalin and the USSR that means they will have to defend everything they did including the "antisemitism" and will eventually become NazBol.

They're not. The majority communists you will find on twitter and reddit will defend Stalin and the USSR. Criticizing the USSR will get you banned from most communist subs on Reddit. These are the same communists subs that hate the West, European people, and worship black and brown people. They don't defend the "based" aspects of the USSR, they deny them and try to falsify it as something that was in line with the woke modern left.

Haven't watched everything but he seems like a cult leader, he seems like his thing is just attacking progressives by being a "real marxist". He doesn't want to talk policies (likely because it would alienate his progressive viewerbase), he doesn't believe in human rights and he is basically dismantling leftist thoughts.

I watched the whole thing and your characterization of this guy is spot on.

He's trying to make a name for himself as a sort of 'pure Marxist', and to do this he has to attack other Leftists in order to elevate himself above them. Ergo, his attacks on 'Vaush' and 'Destiny' because these two seem to be some of the trendiest of the YouTube activist Left types right now. I keep hearing about 'Destiny' but know nothing about him. 'Vaush' is a gamer channel that recently turned overtly political, and as a result he is losing some subscribers (i.e. non- or anti-political gamers) and gaining some others (i.e. political Left-liberals) as he transitions his channel away from gaming and into politics.

This video is pretty much 'Left Antifa' vs. 'Right Antifa'. Or DSA vs. the Red Guard.

Pretty sure the guy on the left is Vaush and not a "fanboy", a typical Sandernista/BLM type.

This 'Infrared' Arab character is so radicalized that we effectively get some kind of messed up horseshoe effect going on. Putin is better than Navalny, because... Navalny is racist? Liberals are the real racists and fascists and Vaush is unknowingly serving some sort of Anglo-American racist order? So we end up arriving at a "Putin good, America bad" conclusion for all the wrong reasons.

All this video demonstrates is why these activist Leftists have so much energy, influence and numbers but always lose to the mainstream Left. If Obama and Sanders remained like this all of their lives rather than donning suits and ties, we wouldn't have the problem of the Democratic Party being like it is right now. As it standards, the Vaush supporters and the Infrared supporters clearly look like they're willing to shoot each other before they fight anyone on the Right.

The whole video is an embarrassment. To me, Vaush comes out looking like less of a douche in the face of this ultra-aggressive fool who barely mentions anything about M-L. Which is strange, because Vaush should be someone easy to beat by practically anyone who from either end (Antifa/Post-Left or Dissident Right), owing to the fact that he probably knows nothing about the pseudoscientific paradigm of M-L. Come to think about it, Infrared probably doesn't know much more, either. His goal is obviously to be a popular 'pure Marxist' by attacking Vaush, Destiny, Chomsky and whoever else he needs to 'demolish' in order to achieve his goal of being the #1 100% most pure Far-Leftist that ever lived.
