    One of the foundational texts of all of Western Civilization is 'trash' now.

    I see a lot of the hand of the mid-wit in this. Obviously we know the deeper origins of critical theory and the real motivations about its application to all the 'DWEM' stuff but how much of this is a revolt by people without the ability -- spiritual or cognitive -- to understand these works who are just resentful towards them and want to see them taken down out of mere spite?

    I hate to psychologize and look for hidden motives -- that's what they always do to us and it's nearly always wrong -- but I'd bet that type of resentment plays a part in this.

    Fundamental differences of weltanschauung. One person sees greatness as an ideal to strive for, while these rejects see something that reminds them of their inadequacies. Being paranoid and insecure, they destroy what is good, what is true, and what is beautiful because those things are everything they are not.

    In the currently inverted Clown World that we're living in, instead of intolerance being directed at these losers and their way of life, it's been directed at anything that reminds them of their ugliness. We're headed into a great leveling downward that will make the Soviets blush.

    Can't read the whole article because it is behind a paywall but it is important to keep aware that this is happening more and more even in elite institutions. Last year Cornell removed a class on the Renaissance for being too white and male.

    Of course Jews are involved but too many people continue to down play the enthusiastic role white people play in the current situation to scapegoat Jews and other minorities. It seems to bother the alt right more to see Jews or blacks attacking the West but it should be considered even worse when whites do it.
