The level of technology we have now allows us to maintain complex society because we have instant communication, fast travel etc. Knock those out and you immediately have nothing holding this together, you have immediate collapse.

I don't think Russia is planning on this though, they have been moving away from paper to internet in terms of all of their administrative work. They're moving more and more 'on the grid' so to speak, I can't imagine they're going to go sicko mode to try to fuck the whole world in honour of Linkola or something lol.
