James Madison, the father of our Constitution, couldn’t anticipate for everything and he had to make deals to get votes accepting it. We need term limits, only gold is money, an ironclad balanced budget amendment, and a much more secure voting process.

10k for a senator? That seems cheap as fuck. Why that's only a million to buy the whole senate. Why stop with one.

They don't stop with one.

That's really low.

You couldn't even buy me for that

This has always been the case. Here in Illinois, both parties had rigged the system to take campaign donations in exchange for favorable property tax valuations. We've convicted several from both sides. Yet, oddly, several more powerful Democrats seem to have been given a free pass over the decades. We apparently sell Senate seats as well, like Obama's.

Happy for James O'Keefe to continue to do this kind of work and genuine kudos for some of his past captures but this one came across as pretty weak sauce to me.

This guy's only a recruiter in BlackRock. All his talk just came across as "I'm on the inside and I know what's up" from a person who holds some fairly low-down position in a powerful institution.
