Free speech

Unfortunately, this statement is often misquoted.

They're actually saying "frees peech".

It's completely different.

In fact, it's a mystery to every pundit who utters the phrase from their teleprompter...

I honestly think it's YouTube doing this, not Fox News. I have seen them lock out the comments on pop songs from the 1960s and 1970s!

Youtube doesn't control aspects of each post (eg. comments). If there's a problem - such as inciting violence, torture, rape, or murder - YouTube issues a 'cease and desist' order and hides or deletes the post, for legal reasons.

It seems your only purpose here and on Ruqqus is to spam dumb shit like this and try to demoralize. Does the JIDF pay well?

Relax, they're probably just trying to keep their video or channel safe from youtube (google) shutting them down for whatever may end up in the comments section.

Carlson's failure as a human being and reason for moving to Fox in order to Shill for Repuglicans is:

I have another sparrow in my fireplace, banging it's stupid head against the glass door. They fly down the flu all the time and can't get back up. There was a time I used to open the sliding glass door and then the fireplace and let them fly away but they would always spread ashes across the tiles in the process so now I just let them die in there. If I could start a fire inside without opening the door I certainly would so as to hasten their demise and shorten their suffering.

The sparrows here, although being utterly stupid and antisocial, do have the right of free speech. Yes they can bang away all they like, but I'm under no obligation to answer their calls. It's my fireplace and they have had long enough to figure out the consequences. Once there was no fireplace here, no house here, only trees, and back then they owned the place. But a new boss is on the block now and he's decided to change the rules to suit himself. The secret to happiness is to move with the times, and not keep wanting to go back to the good ol days

Was this one of /u/diogenesjunior's last comments?

I'd say obviously not. You've linked to his user page with only 2 comments and a post.

Why did you remove the screen from your chimney?

"Free speech" is not "entitlement to a platform".

Private companies have no obligation to provide you with a platform, and communities are allowed to enforce consequences for speech that disagrees with their norms. The government is not allowed to enforce LEGAL penalities for free speech. Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequence.

Yeah, and freedom of business means you can and should be able to put a "no faggots" or "Whites only" sign on your business and serve only thsoe people.

If your only argument is that "being an asshole should be legal because free-speech", MAYBE you should re-evaluate your priorities in life.

Sounds like you are "being an asshole". Should what you have said be grounds for deplatforming? Maybe you should re-evaluate your priorities in life. Censorship always bites at those who endorse it, unless they have and keep power.

I don't care? Communities are allowed to hold others to standards of behavior and exclude those who do not meet those standards. The government just can't enforce legal consequences.

Communities are allowed to hold others to standards of behavior and exclude those who do not meet those standards

So why shouldn't we also be able to exclude violent, disease-spreading people like blacks and gays? They contribute very little and take quite a bit, so why tolerate them?
