ActBlue is a payment processor used widely by progressive groups and organizations affiliated with the Democratic Party

I'm not sure that debunks anything, tbh. Plus mediamatters is known to have a hugely left slant, so if course they'd try to downplay this

many candidates use [ActBlue] to process donations but that money isn't pooled to be shared across candidates or groups,” and “a donation to BLM through ActBlue goes just to BLM, not any other group.”

That sentence is what the entire article hinges on. Then they spend 10 more paragraphs painting anyone who disagrees as loons without adding any additional information. I'm still skeptical, and this article didn't actually clear much up tbh. Why does a "payment processor" have such an obvious partisan bias, right in their name?

justthenews.com has a hugely right slant, so they try to overplay this.

The purpose of the article is not to debunk the conspiracy, but to point out it's origins.

ActBlue is a payment processor used widely by progressive groups and organizations affiliated with the Democratic Party and the Republican Party has an equivalent processing company called WinRed.

Emphasis added.

the Republican Party has an equivalent processing company called WinRed.

Yes that may be true, but it's not the center of a national controversy right now

Pretty sure political parties (especially the GOP) are always part of national controversies.

Yes but ActBlue is actively involved in an ongoing one that is taking over almost all the media. Both are probably corrupt
