im not saying that the sun isnt bad for the virus, but a UV light shining on you wont do anything when you have the virus

uv isn't magical, it kills literally everything in that spectrum. when they use those, they also implement a good blood on the upstream. It's kinda like the poop thing, you introduce the good bacteria while killing the bad bacteria on the stream.
