Because on my 45-year career I have been an Engineering Consultant to a very great many buildings of all sorts from old 50 years ago, to very old 200+ years ago and then to buildings (mostly all the UK and EU) of ancient buildings and all needing update and repair or remodel I was curious at what value is a mansion built 1927 for 8 million bucks what would that be worth today? Answer is $8,000,000 in 1927 = $138,642,259.89 in 2024 so a bit more than fool judge thinks.
