it does help explain things, the jews were a tough people back then, defeated romans for 4 years from 66AD to 70 at least, the jews of today can't do that, I mean they keep israel with technology and USA's help. But they're not the same people genetically. The khazars were weak ruling elites of turkey that got kicked out.
