The importance of training attention in consumer society.

We are always constantly being exposed to garbage information in order to keep us distracted from our goals, I believe It's important we think of strategies in order to constantly train so we can improve ourselves and eventually make a change for society.

Be it through the media or by being overworked, the ruling class seeks to keep people away from training themselves in philosophy and skills to make things better for themselves and others...

It's not about strategies or distractions. It all comes down to one simple thing: as a nation, society and culture the vast majority of us have forgotten how to simply be honest. There's an old saying: "You cannot lie to an honest man." That means that you can't fool an honest man with lies. It's true. But, since the vast majority of Americans are now shamefully dishonest it's easy to con them with all kinds of BS. Well, all of those except for the few like me who continue to be rigorously honest.
