A lot of people know that the US uses a lot of tax money on military budget so I think this is a good historical record of how that money was used by the government.

Halliburton mostly. They started out as Brown & Root, a small Texas company who decided to back an unknown, Lyndon Baines Johnson, for congress.

Dick Cheney was the CEO of Halliburton. I guess everyone knows that, but there was a decent movie about his role in the wars, I think it was called Dick.
