A similar quote I heard yesterday on Max Egan's podcast was:

"The enemy of truth is not lies, it is indifference. The enemy of beauty, is not ugliness, it is indifference. The enemy of life is not death, it is indifference."

Two different quotes saying two dissimlar things - both outwardly appear to be correct. The universe is a beautiful dance of random occurrence, peppered with 1 in a trillion synchronicities that help us perform our intended functions (destiny).

Well, the people in the elites use propaganda all the time to deceive people for their own interests, this quote from JFK describes it very well.

JFK talked about the danger of the myths and how they can persuate people into believing in them. Kind of like what happens today in the Internet with memes and propaganda in real life.
