Yes most religions have been corrupted, so you have to look for the exceptions. Christianity is diverse and has some exceptions. Islam isn't diverse enough because Muslims misunderstand what the Quran says about sects. Islam may have exceptions but I don't know of any.

Even Christianity was co-opted long, long before anyone alive today was born.
Some people still carry the knowledge though. It's too bad you've been convinced not to find/see them.
