What a deceptive headline.

No one is "creating FEMA camps". There is no camp, and no one is being forced from their homes. What has been standard practice for a few months now (in a bunch of states) is to offer those diagnosed with COVID-19 who don't have a place to isolate (could be homeless, could be a family in a small apartment, etc.) a place to stay free of charge where they can avoid other people while they get over the disease.

If you want to talk about fake news and COVID-19 fear-mongering, this article is a prime example.

Something to watch, to be sure. But it looks like the order just covers the state making "non-congregate" isolation areas available to be used, for example by requisitioning unused dorms from campuses that are already shut down, etc.

As long as they aren't dragging unwilling people to these quarantine facilities by force, and they are just making the option available to people who can't safely isolate at home, this isn't anything to panic about.

Sounds to me as if "asymptomatic Covid patients" is another term for people who are pointing out the truth about the non-existent Cough-19.

If you had bothered to read the actual order, instead of jumping to conclusions like a typical conspiracy theorist, you would know that no one is being forced from their homes, and there are no "camps". They're just renting out motels and the like and letting COVID-19 patients with shared living situations stay there free of charge so they can get over the virus. But it's all voluntary.

<:o As a friend of mine said: I'm not a conspiracy theorist; I'm a conspiracy analyst.

Your friend was being too kind. Your "analysis" fucking sucks.

Now, now — don't get your panties all twisted.

I'm not upset by what you said. I'm telling you that you're being coddled.

[–]hennaojichan 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Semantics. He said that about himself, not about me. So he is not coddling me, he was describing himself. I will not say more on this subject until I know something more about Mike DeWine and his motives. I'm just curious: what do you think those FEMA camps are for?

Did you read the order?

I hereby ORDER non-congregate sheltering be utilized throughout the state for those who are unable to safely self-quarantine in their place of residence and to isolate those diagnosed with or showing symptoms of COVID-19.

There is nothing in the order that states or even insinuates isolation of those with COVID-19 be voluntary.

Did you read the order?

Yes. That was why I prefaced my statement with "if you had bothered to read the actual order".

There is nothing in the order that states or even insinuates isolation of those with COVID-19 be voluntary.

Because nothing about the order implies that anyone will be forced to do anything. The only people that would think this is an order to start forcibly isolating people are those that fell for fake news. That's you, by the way.

That's you, by the way.

So your strategy is to bully people to your point of view with insults?

You're on s/conspiracy insulting the people posting here as conspiracy theorists? If you're not here to learn about others views and share your own in a respectful manner, perhaps you just get off on the belittlement of others.

u/magnora7 - do we really need this guy when every argument he has made includes an insult? Who wants to have discussion or debate with users who consistently resort to bottom of the pyramid you're an asshat type of behavior?

Nope, I just make fun of people, on top of refuting the point, when they say something extra dumb. But if you want a safe space, the "block user" button is right there.

[–]fred_red_beans 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Nope, I think the block user function is bad for the site and the community. It just promotes bad actors such as yourself and deteriorates the site. Your actions are in bad faith and is the type of content promoted by subs like IP2. It's bottom of the barrel bullshit that discourages content and discussion.

His own party is preparing to impeach DeWine and a group consisting of doctors among others is preparing a law suit against him on various charges. He is not at all popular in Ohio and citizens on both sides of the aisle are taking action against him. It looks as if he will not be governor much longer. Thanks for suggesting I read more about "the emperor" as he is being called.

Impeach DeWine

I am not in panic mode but probably DeWine is since his popularity rating is approaching zero.
