You know, I didn't think much of his neighbors not knowing he was a cop but now that you mention it that is really weird. Cops love telling people they are cops.

But it could be that these two had a history and this was just bad blood.

More like bad blood serving as a pre-made excuse so that they can use it later and say "it was a personal beef". Perfect cover for a much more subtle psy op.

Also apparently the cop guy was registered in florida and had a house in florida too.

I wonder if the cop is CIA or something. Could also just be bad blood like you said

Oh no, I am stating it was NOT bad blood. Well, there may have been bad blood, but if so that's just an excuse so that witnesses can come forward after the fact and testify that such was in fact the case, therefore "debunking" the story about this event having been created purposefully to stir up the discontentment.

Ah I see, could very well be. Planned events usually do have multiple layers of plausible deniability so that when the most obvious layers are revealed as false they can just peel back to the next layer of plausible deniability.
