First, the Democrat leadership are worse liars (at present, now for a while) than the Republicans. Further, they are all Republicans in Democrat clothing pushing the Overton window to the right and the SJW insanity to the far left for the illusion of remain still and/or creating a divide. Leadership aside, their policies are still shit capitalist agendas.

As for the morality, it's morality that you subjectively subscribe to. Dems find killing unborn babies acceptable but will (pretend to) build safety nets (welfare) for people for their lives. GOP finds it acceptable to abandon lives them after they're born and say every person for themselves and fuck safety nets.

I agree with you in the old-left spirit, that we need to have compassion take care of everyone, not just our tribe, selfishly. But morals are more than that. The don't want their communities polluted by immorality, like the gays, etc. I don't agree, but it most certainly is their morality, and to say they don't have good or strong morals is absurd.

Morality is in the eye of the beholder. And compassion is at an all time low. On all sides.
